FOUNDER, HARRY A, DAVIDOW
Our firm was originally founded by Harry A. Davidow in 1913, and later expanded with the addition of his two sons, Wallace and Sanford Davidow, and later with his grandson, Lawrence Davidow, who currently serves as Managing Partner. The firm, originally located in the Davidow’s hometown of Patchogue, New York, functioned as a general practice firm, catering to a multitude of business and personal needs of local clients. Above all else, the philosophy of the firm was to service its clients with the highest degree of excellence, confidentiality and reliability. Although time has brought many changes, this ideology has never waned; in fact, it is the foundation on which our firm continues to grow.
Lawrence Davidow redirected the firm into one of the first and most successful Elder Law, Special Needs, and Estate Planning practices on Long Island. He is responsible for putting Elder Law on the map in Suffolk County by educating the public and professionals to the ever changing legal needs of our aging population. Thousands of seniors and their families have benefitted from his advice concerning incapacity and the availability and financing of long term care.
Although the firm has grown with new partners and new directions, we continue to be deeply committed to providing excellent customer service. As we uphold the tradition of personalized, compassionate and sophisticated service that has been our hallmark for ONE HUNDRED YEARS, we now look forward and take pride in maintaining that same level of service our clients have come to expect.
