Lawrence A. Siegel joined the firm in May 1998. His practice focuses on all aspects of business law, tax and estate planning, a natural extension for the Elder Law and Estate Planning firm of Davidow, Davidow, Siegel & Stern.

Throughout his career he has always concentrated in the practice of trusts and estates, business, corporate and tax law. Mr. Siegel’s extensive training and experience, which includes a Master in Tax degree from New York University, enables him to complete sophisticated tax planning for many complex businesses and individuals. Over the years he has developed intricate estate planning strategies and techniques and managed the implementation for a diverse group of high net-worth individuals.

Mr. Siegel serves as general counsel to both closely held and public companies. He has been an advocate for business succession planning for all closely held companies. Additionally, he has been the lead counsel in numerous corporate acquisitions, divestitures and financings in many different industries.

In addition to his aforementioned Master of Law degree in Taxation, Mr. Siegel attended the University of Rochester for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Albany Law School.
