Changes of mind with an Irrevocable Medicaid Trust…read on:
CLIENT QUESTION:
If one has an irrevocable Medicaid trust that they no longer like, can they
make a new one that would revoke that irrevocable trust at a later day
after the new one is 5 years old?
MY RESPONSE:
If I answered this one thoroughly, we would be here all day. Suffice it to
say that you may be able to change SOME of the terms of the trust, SOMETIMES. 😊
To properly answer this question, I would need more facts…so it is time for
a consultation! The bottom line is that there is much that we can alter or
revoke under the proper circumstances. |
