Long-term care insurance is complicated. Read on:
CLIENT QUESTION:
I found a long-term care policy that I think will work for me. I found it in consultation with my financial advisor. I would like to have someone knowledgeable take a look at it to make sure that there are no surprises that I am missing. I am not sure who (what type of professional) I should ask to take a look at it for me. I don’t think I want another insurance salesman to review it because I am sure they will try to sell me something else. Also, what kind of charge should I expect to have something like this reviewed?
MY RESPONSE:
As ELDER LAW ATTORNEYS, we have seen and reviewed many long-term care insurance policies over the years. We would charge a consultation fee and review it together.
I hope this helps!
