I was watching SUNDAY MORNING on CBS and saw a segment on a company that provides an alternative to your typical burial vs. cremation choice. The company’s name is CELESTIS and they provide MEMORIAL SPACEFLIGHT SERVICES. These spaceflight services include launching your ashes and DNA into space with a return to Earth, or a launch into Earth orbit, to the moon, or into deep space. How cool is that?!
Anyway, the purpose of this LISTEN TO LAWRENCE LETTER is not to promote this company but rather to promote the idea that you should be pre-planning for the disposition of your remains. It is a beautiful gift to give the ones you love, that is, upon your death, all they have to do is make one phone call….and then perhaps to infinity and beyond! 😊
