Well, you can’t get blood out of a stone…

CLIENT QUESTION:

If I put my house, and only my house in an irrevocable trust without any other funds, upon my passing how would the trustee pay for any expenses that may arise in regards to house expenses, etc.?

Always look forward to your letters. Thanks very much.

MY RESPONSE:

There is a practical answer to this question. Someone will have to front the money and then get paid back when the house is sold.
