Dear Clients and Friends,
A rose by any other name is still a rose…Read on…

CLIENT QUESTION:

In the last LISTEN TO LAWRENCE LETTER, you mention the “Family Protection Trust,” as a means of protecting my estate from my son-in-law.

Is this the same as the “Blood Line Trust” that you prepared for me?

MY RESPONSE:

YES! Sometimes I call the trust a BLOODLINE TRUST, other times a FAMILY PROTECTION TRUST…and yet other times a BENEFICIARY PROTECTION TRUST. In the end, no matter what we call it, it is just another tool in the toolbox to protect your family. This trust protects your estate from your child’s divorce and upon their death, it will pass to your grandchildren. It has become one of the most popular trusts we draft for our clients.

I hope this helps! Please forward this email to your friends and relatives to share these informative answers to some very commonly asked questions.
