Debra Sehy is the Comptroller and has been with the firm for more than 17 years. She heads the accounting department and is solely responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statements, Budgeting and the financial management of the entire firm.
She has more than 35 years of experience in finance and has worked primarily in the law industry. Her previous work experience includes working in a major public accounting firm for several years where she prepared business, personal and payroll tax returns, as well as the auditing of several school districts.
Debra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Accounting from Long Island University, CW Post campus. While working towards her degree she did an internship with the Sheriff of Nassau County at the correctional facility helping incarcerated individuals return to society by finding them jobs upon their release.
Ms. Sehy is an avid cyclist, enjoys cooking, entertaining and is a dedicated advocate for animal rights. She also organized a local blood drive for the Leukemia society during a blood shortage on Long Island.
